Digital Augmentation of Gandhi Darshan –Dome 360 VR

Imagine travelling through space and time to be immersed in a virtual world and see Gandhi ji being thrown off the train in South Africa; or to see him use his Charkha and speak about non-violence! All this and more was made possible by Vizara, through immersive Dome VR movies created with 3D avatars, Computer graphics and archival footage, for an 8m 360 Dome theater set up at the Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, New Delhi by DST and Ministry of Culture.

Digital Gandhi Gyan Vigyan (DGGV) Exhibition

A unique Gandhi exhibition which was loved by our young visitors ! School children eagerly interacted with AR based Gandhi memorabilia and learnt to use the Charkha; enjoyed playing with a game-controller to explore the Sabarmati Ashram; and loved playing Treasure hunt in the Sabarmati VR experience. Vizara made this possible through the DGGV exhibition set up at DST office to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. AR Apps are available at Google PlayStore.

A Digital Mini-Spectacle for Showcasing the Glory of Hampi

UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi in South India is famous for its art, architecture, culture and heritage science. Vizara has helped preserve it eternally in digital space through digital documentation of its tangible and intangible heritage using 3D laser scan data, AR, holograms and 3D fabrication. Room-scale Temple replicas, simulated Musical Pillars, Holographic dances and rituals, social life through AR app were highlights of this project showcase at the IHSE 2020.

Augmented Reality based Interactions with Physical Models of 5 Monuments

Vizara ViRaasat is our mixed-reality based, interactive and immersive museum installations which make it possible. ViRaasat of 5 prominent Indian monuments (4 from UNESCO WHC list) were showcased at the IHSE 2020, and enthralled the audience with their novelty. Laser-scanning, 3D modeling/printing, AR/VR, AI & IoT based interfaces are the highlights of this project.

IIT Jodhpur Convocation 2020 organized using VR

A Virtual convocation with a difference! A step ahead of other virtual convocations held in 2020, Vizara provided the concept, design & technical inputs to help execute the 6th Convocation of IIT (6th Dec’20) in an immersive 360-degree, mixed-reality environment streamed LIVE. This event, executed to perfection, enabled parents, students, faculty and guests to participate in the event virtually and immersively from remote locations. 3D avatars, and innovative AR/VR tech was used to enhance the virtual experience.

IHSE 2020 –The first International Heritage Symposium and Exhibition

IHSE 2020 was a major international event, organised by Vizara and jointly sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, held at the National Museum, Janpath, New Delhi on 15-16th of January 2020. An Exhibition called “Indian Heritage in Digital Space” showcased our unique digital heritage exhibits and installations.
