This product is a 3D Printed Lithophane Photoframe. A lithophane is a 3D printed artwork in a very thin translucent plastic that can be seen clearly only when its back is lit with a light source. The word “Lithophane” derives from Greek “lithos” which means stone, and “phainein” meaning “to cause to appear suddenly”. Thus, the word Lithophane means “appear in stone” as the three-dimensional image appears suddenly when lit with a back light source. We will use your uploaded photo to create a 3D Printed Lithophane.
