Merging education and entertainment through tech mobile apps, games, interactive textbooks, audio books, augmented images, etc. is hailed to be one of the most effective educational tools across the globe.

Imagine yourself in your biology class in school, drawing and understanding a complex diagram such as the human heart. Now imagine being able to scan the textbook and see the heart in 3D in front of you. Imagine being able to dissect it, enlarge it, see a simulation of blood pumping, and more.

Imagine being a med student and being able to train for complex surgeries via VR based interactive intelligent simulations. Or, being able to see a 3D model of a patients scan and finding intricacies that would not have been possible previously, without cutting.

The application of tech in infotainment is wide and difficult to summarise. As more R&D and product dev is done, more areas wherein improvements and innovation can be done are seen.

GAMIFICATION OF AN EXCAVATION SITE

Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) commissioned Vizara Technologies to develop a game application based on a historical excavation site in India. To do so, our team visited the region, toured across the site, and engaged with the guides & locals. Armed with historical data, facts, knowledge, and stories, Vizara is currently developing a 2D platformer phone-based app that will be available to the public for download free of cost once launched, on both the App Store and the Play Store.

The game follows a story of a young girl who must traverse through 3 game levels collecting artefacts from the excavation site – simultaneously learning about their history & significance – surviving various scenarios, solving puzzles and more.

The end-to-end development including story boarding, visual assets, VOs, animations, dialogues, and more is being done by Vizara Technologies.

AR BASED TUTORIAL FOR A MICROWAVE

Vizara Technologies was commissioned by an undisclosed client to create an AR based demo tutorial on How to Use a Microwave.

The tutorial involved Artificial Intelligence & Computer Vision technology to recognise the barcode and place the correct model & version of the device. Once the device is recognised, a digital 3D twin of the microwave is then displayed in the real-world view in the user’s phone. The tutorial gives the user multiple options to choose from and then proceeds to simulate how the chosen feature works.

VR BASED GAMIFICATION OF AN ASHRAM – TREASURE HUNT

In the 1st ever International Heritage Symposium & Exhibition held at the Nation Museum, New Delhi, jointly organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Vizara Technologies was commissioned to create interactive intelligent and immersive experiences.

Vizara created what they termed as a Viraasat installation that consists of a smart kiosk offering a mixed-reality experience to visitors. It has virtual reality, artificial intelligence and 3D printing based technologies that have been indigenously developed.

The ViRaasat Sabarmati installation consists of a 3D printed physical replica of the Ashram with a Virtual Walk-through of the Ashram shown on a screen placed in the kiosk, synchronised with a Projection mapping show on the model.

Visitors could also engage with the Sabarmati Kiosk through a VR based treasure hunt that would take place in a 3D virtual space within the Ashram experienced via a VR headset. The user navigates the treasure hunt through a game controller and explores the Ashram as if he/she were walking inside of it.

The interactions in the treasure hunt are summarised below:

  • Single Controller
    • Circular button
    • Trigger button
    • Grip buttons
    • Menu / Application button
  • Dual Controllers
    • Trigger buttons of both
    • Trigger button with Circular button

3D DIGITAL TWINS OF GRADUATING STUDENTS

Vizara specializes in executing Virtual events such as College eConvocations with the right blend of aesthetics and technology. We use Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and 3D modelling and printing – to turn any event into a virtual, immersive, and interactive experience. While the Metaverse is now becoming a catchword, we already created a metaverse for the students at premier academic institutes of India such as the IITs and IIMs, wherein they watched their 3D avatars receive degrees and medals at their live convocation event.

We have created the core tech pipeline to give our customers the feel of real events in virtual space. These virtual offerings are also more sustainable, economical and zero-waste.

Our special offerings for a virtual college convocation are:

  1. Live streaming of the convocation event in 360 degrees.
  2. 3D Avatar and Animations of the degree receiving event.
  3. Augmented Reality applications, to bring the event to your home.
  4. Customised 3D printed memorabilia with a specialised AR app.

Having 5 years of extensive experience in creating intelligent, interactive and immersive products & solutions, we are well equipped to handle and deliver any tech-based solutions required by you or your organisation.

Backed by a strong tech team, mentored by industry leaders, closely associated with government institutes & premiere technical institutes, and guided by a highly qualified management, we bring a full repertoire to the table.

Let’s engage and discuss how we can solution for you. Let’s Talk.
