INTERACTIVE 360 VR WALKTHROUGH OF A FACILITY

We created a 360 VR walkthrough of a building as a prototype for a larger idea – a Facility VR App

What would be the purpose of creating a 360 VR tour of a Facility?

  • Allow potential customers, clients, or visitors an unique experience into the facility/building prior to their in-person visit
  • Engage with customers and gain their trust through remote showcases in exhibitions, fairs, or through digital marketing
  • Enhance their website & potentially hook leads by embedding a 360 tour on their website
  • Provide access to a global client base

And much more.

What should the app be able to do:

  • Create a real 360 deg interactive VR tour of a building
    1. The App would has 360 degree videos and images of the space
    2. 3 modes in which the app would work
      • Phone Mode
      • Web mode
      • VR Mode
    3. The Facility Tour on the App can be any of the below:
      • A curated / guided tour such as, if a guide were to take you around the space, OR
      • An interactive tour wherein the user can explore the facility in 360 degree as he/she likes – selecting a room / space from a menu or moving from one room / space to another
  1. Highlight hotspots in 360 view that would trigger information on demand – text, audio-visual, real video or simulation

METAVERSE: 3D 360 VIRTUAL MUSEUMS

Commissioned by the GoI and in association with iHub Drishti. IIT-Jodhpur (TIH), Vizara is creating a Metaverse of Museums beginning with 5 museums spanning the state of Rajasthan.

The team spent one entire month traversing the state to document the 5 Museums in the scope of the project. Using cutting edge technologies of LiDAR, photogrammetry, 3D modelling, unity based coding and more, Vizara is creating not only a digital replica of the 5 museums but rather an explorable, immersive, interactive universe of the museums.

This Metaverse will be available for users to experience through a Web Application as well as through a Mobile App.Each museum is a digital twin, i.e., an exact replica of the physical site. Including the artefacts, architecture and experience. 3D models of a quarter of the total artefacts in each of the Museums are being manually created by our experienced team of 3D modellers.

Further details will be made public once the project is complete.

3D VIRTUAL RECONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING

Our experienced 3D modelling team created a virtual 3D 360 reconstruction of a building facility that is an exact replica of the site.

DECONSTRUCT THE ARCHITECTURE OF A STEPWELL

Created as an entry to a 3-day app challenge, VizArt 3D (modelled for the Rani ki Vav stepwell)  is an ingenious confluence of art, science, and education as amalgamated through tech. One feature in the app was the deconstruction of the Rani Ki Vav structure, i.e., a deconstruction of its architecture.

The VizARt 3D App is a proof of concept that brings together the cultural, architectural & historical immersion of an UNESCO world heritage site along with the engagement of learning about important scientific fundamentals using the site as a stage and tool. The ambition of the platform showcased through the app is to increase comprehension of fundamentals as well as trigger the interest of young minds.

The app currently has an e-learning section on the Rani Ki Vav (RKV) Stepwell that is targeted for middle school children and above. It provides an immersive learning experience about the UNESCO World Heritage site of Rani ki Vav a step-well in Patan, Gujarat, India. The user of the App can see the stepwell models and simulations in AR mode and learn about the Art and Architecture of RKV.

Through this App, the user can get an immersive experience of RKV by interacting with a realistic, 3D model in three different ways – textured view, a modular view (all its 7 sub-levels), & a cross-sectional view to understand the architectural geometry of the structure. In the Architecture section, users can also explore each of its sublevels and view intricate details.

The RKV step-well also has stunning art in the form of sculpted jaalis, sculpted panels, pillars, and pavilions. In the Art section, the user can explore and interact with 3D models of some of the mythological deities depicted in its sculpted panels, such as the Dashavatara (ten avatars of Vishnu) & get more information about them.

The app also has a plethora of other features such as the science section, through which one can learn about the Rain Cyccle, Pascal’s Law, and more.
